Challenge: Digitalization Meets New Construction

With the new company building, Bentele Transporte not only wanted to create more space but also to lay the digital foundation for the coming years: Fast WLAN, smart access systems, video technology, and stable server operations were to be professionally integrated from the outset.

Key considerations included:

  • high reliability in daily operations
  • a system that works seamlessly with Apple devices

Stable WLAN throughout the Building: No Dead Zones, No Compromises

A modern company needs more than just good internet – the entire team should be able to rely on connections working. That's why Access Points with the latest WiFi 7 Standard were installed throughout the building:

  • Lightning-fast WLAN – even with many devices simultaneously
  • Stable connection, from the office to the warehouse
  • Easy management via the UniFi Portal, also via app from an iPhone

With the Unifi Dream Machine Pro Max and the PoE switches in the server room, the system runs powerfully in the background – completely invisible to employees, but always reliable.

Especially in businesses with many employees and external service providers, it is important to always know who has access to which areas. Bentele uses an electronic access system with:

  • Ubiquiti Access Hub & Readers
  • NFC cards and keyfobs
  • Central management, whether door or rolling gate

The advantage: access can be activated, revoked, or time-limited with just a few clicks. No more key chaos. Operation is convenient from the office or mobile – also on an iPhone or iPad.

Particularly practical: the Ubiquiti Intercom display at the main entrance, which allows visitors to be contacted directly via video and granted entry.


Smart Video Surveillance: Security That Thinks Ahead

A modern company needs an overview – inside and out. That's why high-resolution Ubiquiti cameras with intelligent motion detection were installed, which also deliver sharp images at night if needed.

All recordings are stored directly on the Unifi Dream Machinewithout external cloud services. This ensures maximum security and full control over one's own data.

Central File Server with Synology: Keeping Data In-House

In addition to network and security, data management was also professionally considered from the outset. With a Synology RackStation, a central file server was set up where documents, invoices, and internal data are stored securely and in compliance with GDPR.

  • Intuitive interface – regardless of the device
