The amount of funding for repairs is a maximum of 130 Euros per receipt or 50% of the eligible invoice amount , and a maximum of 30 Euros for a cost estimate.

Who is eligible for funding?

The funding is available to private individuals residing in Austria.

Are AppleCare+ repairs also covered?

No. Repairs covered by insurance (e.g. AppleCare+) are not subsidized.

How many vouchers can be redeemed?

Only one voucher can be redeemed per device and repair.

What is being funded?

Funding is provided for the repair and/or cost estimate for repair work of almost all electrical and electronic devices commonly used in private households. This includes MacBooks, iMacs, and AirPods.

Due to the regulations, Apple Watch, iPhone, and many iPad models are unfortunately not eligible for funding.

Attention: Whether a repair is eligible for funding can only be determined after inspection at the technical center.

Here's how it works:

1. Request voucher

Simply apply for your voucher at "geraete-retter-praemie.at".

Request a voucher

2. Return device

Drop off your broken device at an epos branch, along with your receipt (printed or on your phone).

3. Pick up device

Once the repair is complete, you will be notified by our Technical Center and can pick up your device at an epos branch. There you will pay the full invoice amount. The subsidy will be paid out to a specified bank account.
