Technology Center Upgrade
Mac upgrade process
- You can call the epos Technology Center or send us an email with an upgrade request.
- Please have your Mac's serial number ready or send it to us in your email.
- If an upgrade is possible for your Mac, bring your device to one of our three epos stores.
- Your Mac will come to us in Götzis at the epos Technik Center.
- You will be informed about the current status of the upgrade via SMS or email.
- You can pick up your Mac as soon as you receive the pickup information via SMS or email.

Duration of a Mac upgrade
The duration of your upgrade depends on the type of upgrade and whether data migration is required . Our technicians will inform you in advance when your Mac will be ready.
Which devices can be upgraded?
Which devices can be upgraded depends on the model year and version . Generally, these four devices can be upgraded:
- MacBook
- iMac
- Mac mini
- Mac Studio

Checklist before upgrading
- First, back up your data.
- You can bring the device to one of our branches at the agreed time.
- You will be kept up to date on the progress of your upgrade via SMS or email.
- When your device is ready for collection, you will receive a text message or email from us.
You don't know how to properly back up your data before submitting it?
Loan equipment
Do you need a loaner device for the duration of the upgrade?
Simply reserve it by phone or email.
Make an appointment and drop off your Apple device for repair at one of our three epos branches in Vorarlberg – from there it goes directly to our technology center.

The first branch of the oldest Apple retailer in all of Austria has been able to call its location in Götzis its home since 1996.
Consulting, sales, training and service ( epos Technology Center ): Everything from a single source. Our shop, technology center and the training rooms of the epos learning workshop can be found at the yarn market.

Opened in 2009, the epos branch in the Messepark is our location in the Unterland region.
In our store at Messepark, you'll receive expert advice on all Apple products, in addition to making purchases. You can also register for training courses or drop off and pick up defective devices for repair.

Our newest branch is located in Zimbapark. Since 2010, our sales team in Bürs has been advising you, accepting your service orders, conducting equipment training, and providing support and assistance. You can also drop off and pick up your defective devices for repair here.
