Sleep Apnea Notifications: Sleep Apnea Notifications are available on Apple Watch Series 9 and later, Ultra 2 and later, and SE 3. The feature is intended to identify signs of moderate to severe sleep apnea in individuals aged 18 years and older who have not been diagnosed with sleep apnea.
High Blood Pressure Notifications: High Blood Pressure Notifications are not intended for use by individuals under 22 years of age, individuals who have been diagnosed with chronic high blood pressure (hypertension), or pregnant women.
Workout Tracking: Tested without iPhone and with heart rate monitor enabled during workout sessions in low power mode. Testing conducted by Apple in July and August 2025 using preproduction Apple Watch Ultra 3 units. All devices tested with preproduction software. Battery life varies by use, configuration, cellular network, signal strength, and many other factors; actual results will vary.
Wireless Technologies: Cellular service plan is required for cellular services. Contact your service provider for more details. Connection may vary depending on network availability. For information on participating carriers and availability, see apple.com/watch/cellular. For additional setup instructions, see support.apple.com/en-at/HT207578.
Apple Pay: Apple Pay is not available in all countries. For a list of Apple Pay countries and regions, see support.apple.com/en-at/HT207957.
Emergency SOS via Satellite: Emergency SOS requires a satellite connection, a cellular connection, or Wi-Fi calling with an internet connection from your Apple Watch or nearby iPhone. You can make an emergency call with cellular Apple Watch models in many locations, provided there is network coverage. Some cellular networks do not allow an emergency call from your Apple Watch if your Apple Watch is not activated, if it is incompatible or not configured for use on a specific network, if cellular is not set up, or if the cellular network does not support emergency calls via IMS. For more information, see support.apple.com/en-at/108374 and apple.com/watch/cellular.
5G Cellular: Data plan required. 5G is available in select countries and through select carriers. Speeds may vary based on location and carrier. For more information about 5G support, contact your service provider and see apple.com/watch/cellular.
